"Mirrors" is an intimate video installation booth reflecting on the idea of confessions revolving around intimacy, honesty, and pain.
Taking the concept of a confessional booth from where one's secrets are exposed to a stranger in hopes of retribution, "Mirrors" flips the script. Instead, in an intimate booth, strangers are invited in at any moment to experience the secrets of someone else, who is known, named, and honest. Viewers are encouraged to enter the intimate space, reflect on their own secrets, remove their own personal judgements, and share their confessions after the experience. This erasure of judgement is done with the presence of mirrors around the booth which are watching them, perhaps judging them as they experience the confessions of another.
